The Mayor of Riga visits One Stop Shop

Meeting with the Director of the Secretariat of the Society Integration Foundation Zaiga Pūce, the Head of the Department of Cohesion Activities Coordination Kristīne Kļukoviča and The Head of the One Stop Shop Zane Alute, the Riga City Council delegation led by Mārtiņš Staķs were introduced to the activities and development plans of the One Stop Shop.

During the meeting, ways to jointly improve the services needed by foreigners were discussed, so that all immigrants who have chosen Latvia as their destination would feel welcome. It includes convenient and fast customer service – receiving all necessary services and information in one place. Along with receiving basic information, to receive information about employment, education, housing, healthcare, language learning, etc.

A truly effective, customer-centric service model requires a strong synergy between all involved parties. The goal is to work together to create a more successful socio-economic integration of foreigners in our country and its capital.

The One Stop Shop’s services are provided by the Society Integration Foundation within the framework of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund’s project (Agreement No. PMIF/13.1./2022/1/01). The funding has been allocated by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (75%) and Latvian State budget (25%).
