Legalisation of documents

Legalisation is the authentication of an official’s signature and seal so that public documents created in one country can have legal effect in another.

Acceptance of documents for legalisation takes place at the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Rīga, Elizabetes street 57) by appointment. You can book an appointment here.
