This week, the Zemgale Region Human Resource Development Centre  hosted in‑person consultations of the Integration and Inclusion Agency for third‑country nationals. During these sessions, participants could receive personalized support in resolving current issues, including advice on employment opportunities, migration‑related documents, as well as access to written translation services.

The Integration and Inclusion Agency of the Society Integration Foundation continues its work in Phase 2 of the project (2026–2029), providing national‑level coordinated support to newcomers across Latvia. The agency’s goal is to offer high‑quality and timely information, practical assistance, and emotional support to third‑country nationals. To expand the availability of in‑person support in the Zemgale region, VPA, in cooperation with ZRKAC, provided consultations in Jelgava this time.

Four individuals made use of the opportunity to receive an individual in‑person consultation. Based on professional experience and cooperation with state institutions, the The Agency consultant provided information on residence permits, personal status issues, employment opportunities, as well as written translation services. A key added value of the meeting was the personalized approach and the opportunity for each client to receive recommendations and next steps tailored to their specific situation.

It should be emphasized that  consultations cover a wide range of topics—not only migration, documentation, and employment, but also access to education, social, and healthcare services. Upon request, The Agency provides legal and psychological support, as well as oral and written translation in several languages.
