Camps for children and youth from Ukraine and Latvia during the summer break of 2025

This summer, a variety of inclusive camps are being organized throughout Latvia, providing opportunities for Ukrainian and Latvian children to spend time together, make new friends, develop language skills, and simply enjoy the summer in a safe and creative environment.

 

These camps:

  • promotes friendship and integration among children from different cultures,
  • offers creative, sports, and educational activities,
  • helps practice the Latvian language and learn about Latvian culture,
  • provides support from professional teachers and specialists.
 
 
The camp offerings include:
  • Day and overnight camps in various cities in Latvia – in Riga, Salaspils, Cēsis, Engure, Balvi, etc.
  • Age groups from 7 to 18 years old.
  • Topics: friendship, language, health, sports, cinema, professions, nature, culture, and much more.

 

Some of the camps on offer:

  • Friendship with Ukrainian children (Salaspils) adventure camp with hiking, excursions and development of language skills.
  • Were together!” (Riga) creative and exploratory camp with theatre projects, movement and sound research.
  • Enjoy life healthy!” (Riga) healthy lifestyle camp with classes on nutrition, safety and emotional wellbeing.
  • KinoCamp (Balvi) a creative roundthe-clock camp, where children make a real film together with professionals.
  • Holidays every day (Engure) holidaythemed camp with Latvian language classes and excursions.
  • Gaujaslīči (Cēsis) is a roundthe-clock camp where children practice Latvian and develop healthy habits.

Services of the Integration and Inclusion Agency are provided by the Society Integration Foundation within the framework of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund’s project (Agreement No. PMIF/13.1./2022/1/01). The funding has been allocated by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (75%) and Latvian State budget (25%).
